Axis Beard and Hair Trimmer

NOTIFY ME WHEN IN STOCK

No matter your facial hair style, every man needs a good trimmer. The Axis is designed for men who maintain shorter facial hair styles ranging from stubble to a tight beard with guards ranging from 1mm up to 6mm. The narrow blade is ideal for reaching tighter areas and cutting straight lines while the .5mm cutting length produces a very tight stubble look. Never let your trimming get cut short by a low battery. The Axis has an integrated battery status display encircling the single button and 90 minutes of cutting time per charge. The Ceramic blade is 4 times harder than stainless steel, creates less friction and is extremely quiet. The Axis trimmer is gimmick free – you will not find any unnecessary features. One button, one function. If you are ready for a higher quality trimmer with a smooth and quiet blade and amazing battery life, check out the Brio Axis.

Getting hot

Works fine but the Ceramic blades get hot.

Hello, Serjik! Thanks for the review. The ceramic blade works by using friction, so it will get a bit hot over time. If there's one area of your skin that tends to be more sensitive to heat, I would recommend starting there first so that the blade hasn't had a chance to warm up at that point. If you think the heat is extreme or if you run into any other issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at Support@BrioPG.com - we are always happy to help!

Kind regards,

Sarah

OK, but not awesome.

This product was OK. I replaced another trimmer I had for years. I guess I expected this thing to trim my beard like a hot knife cutting through butter. Not so much. I don't have the thickest beard and my facial hair kept getting pulled as I was trimming. It will work but I will just have to go slower than I am used to.

Amazing Trimmer.

Gone are the days of cuts and blade sharpening every few months. No more $15 Walmart trimmers for me!

I stumbled on to a YouTube video that recommended a Brio, high end trimmer for beard trimming and they said to never but a Manscaped trimmer.

OK but my budget doesn't allow for an outlay for a high end trimmer.

The Axis was in my price range and was the best purchase I've made in a long time.

I'm following another video about beard trimming and letting it grow a bit but my Axis tames the fly aways that won't lay down. I have a very curly beard.

So thanks Brio... You have made my grooming a breeze.

Trimming my Mustache & Beard

I was excited to get my Axis Trimmer, but when I used it for the first time, it did not cut the muustache as clean and as easy as my old 15 year old Wahl...Can you please recommend the best trimmer for a thick mustache. I would also like to know if you recommend the Ivy for male and female sensitive & sensual areas over any other Brio product. I trim my mustache about every 4-5 days, so what do you have to get a close even trim or cut?

Thank you,

Barry

Hi Barry,

Thanks for your review. Thanks for reaching out. If the Axis isn't cutting it for a thick and fast-growing moustache, the Beardscape might be the better option. Of the two trimmers, the Beardscape has a larger motor (and longer battery life). With the Beardscape Zero Blade the trim ranges from 0.2mm and 1-20mm. Which might suit your needs.

The Axis has a trim length of .5mm to 6.5mm. The Axis and Ivy are the same trimmer just with different aesthetics (like the Blackout Beardscape vs Grey Beardscape).

I hope this helps!
Best,

Sydney

EXcellent Trimmer, Excellent Customer Service

My specific interest in a trimmer, to manscape. I read many reviews about the Brio product, Beardscape or Axis, tough decision. Still undecided whether to purchase the Beardscape or the Axis, so after speaking with Sydney, a Brio representative, a knowledgeable, confident and absolutely professional gal, my decision was made. It is the Axis, without a doubt. Every statement Sydney made was right on point. I am a Proud & Happy AXIS owner, as well as a well-groomed Axis owner, Bar-Non!

So far, the best trimmer in 37 years of beard trimming

I spent the last year vacillating on buying the Beardscape. I really like what I read about it, but just am not a bells and whistles guy. Not sure why it took me so long to consider the Axis. I've had a beard for 37 years and have used dozens (no exaggeration) of trimmers. I've only had the Axis a week, but the blades on this thing are by far the best blades I've had (and I've spent more than this previously). It's simple, solid, and fits well in my hard. I'm eager to see how it functions long-term. I am a bit surprised that there is no blade guard. Overall, I'm impressed and happy.

great product

Clean packaging and very well taught accessories. The trimmer seems well built but is fairly light. Very satisfied customer so far!
