Axis Beard and Hair Trimmer

Works fine but the Ceramic blades get hot.

This product was OK. I replaced another trimmer I had for years. I guess I expected this thing to trim my beard like a hot knife cutting through butter. Not so much. I don't have the thickest beard and my facial hair kept getting pulled as I was trimming. It will work but I will just have to go slower than I am used to.

Gone are the days of cuts and blade sharpening every few months. No more $15 Walmart trimmers for me!

I stumbled on to a YouTube video that recommended a Brio, high end trimmer for beard trimming and they said to never but a Manscaped trimmer.

OK but my budget doesn't allow for an outlay for a high end trimmer.

The Axis was in my price range and was the best purchase I've made in a long time.

I'm following another video about beard trimming and letting it grow a bit but my Axis tames the fly aways that won't lay down. I have a very curly beard.

So thanks Brio... You have made my grooming a breeze.

I was excited to get my Axis Trimmer, but when I used it for the first time, it did not cut the muustache as clean and as easy as my old 15 year old Wahl...Can you please recommend the best trimmer for a thick mustache. I would also like to know if you recommend the Ivy for male and female sensitive & sensual areas over any other Brio product. I trim my mustache about every 4-5 days, so what do you have to get a close even trim or cut?

I spent the last year vacillating on buying the Beardscape. I really like what I read about it, but just am not a bells and whistles guy. Not sure why it took me so long to consider the Axis. I've had a beard for 37 years and have used dozens (no exaggeration) of trimmers. I've only had the Axis a week, but the blades on this thing are by far the best blades I've had (and I've spent more than this previously). It's simple, solid, and fits well in my hard. I'm eager to see how it functions long-term. I am a bit surprised that there is no blade guard. Overall, I'm impressed and happy.

Clean packaging and very well taught accessories. The trimmer seems well built but is fairly light. Very satisfied customer so far!
