The adjustable blade makes the Beardscape V2 perfect for haircuts and body hair trimming. Lowering the blade gives you more clearance on sensitive areas than other trimmers.

So there’s no denying this machine is great quality and the battery life extremely impressive.
However, I find that I keep accidentally pressing the power button which turns off the machine when I’m shaving.
As I mentioned in my review of the zero add on, I feel this is a bit of a con and could have been integrated into a single blade.
I like the quality and feel of this device, and unlike other people, I don’t really find it too much of a pain to add on and remove the standard comb attachments.
I also like the fact that with a comb on a can work under my nose to easily groom my beard. I will say however that I do find the combs are quite sharp and the ends and have stabbed me in the face a few times.
I've now bought 3 guards from them breaking. The trimmer itself is great but the guards seam like an afterthought.
They are costing me a fortune as well as they're not cheap to replace.
I've now gone back to my phillips as I can't afford to keep replacing the broken guards.

I've tried many beard trimmers over the years and this is by far the Rolls Royce! Highly adjustable, never pulls, seamless cutting. Also when needed, great after care and support from customer services. Highly recommend!
Great trimmer giving really close results for my beard which is what I was after. Love having the 0.1mm increments which gives excellent control. Feels quality battery lasts ages. Customer services were incredible too helping with a delivery problem. Highly recommended

I thought it would get a closer shave out of the box, but you need the skin guard for that. Wouldve loved a suggestion during checkout to add that on. Also had to pay a surprise $70 tarriff at the post office to claim my package. Wouldve loved to know about this before I placed my order. After I order the skin guard, including tarriffs I’ll be $290 into this project, almost double what I originally anticipated so while the product does seem high quality I must also express surprise that the possibility of this experiential disappointment has not been proactively avoided through thoughtful and compassionate business systems - we can all do better 👍
It'll take a bit of getting used to the larger size of this trimmer compared to my cheaper waterproof one. But it feels like several steps up in quality, and has no trouble trimming when my beard is at its thickest. The size makes it tricky to get a short trim using a comb on my moustache, but with practise and freehand technique it's very easy to do do a neat job.
The Beardscape trimmer is an excellent grooming tool. It feels comfortable and light in the hand, with a strong motor that delivers a smooth and quiet shave. The battery life is impressive, and swapping heads is quick and easy. It comes with all the necessary guards, making it versatile for both beard and head hair. With the zero blade, it allows for a close shave, perfect for precision cutting. A well-designed trimmer that I’d thoroughly recommend.
Just received my V2 and gave it a test run. Does what it says on the box but do yourselves a favour and just get the zero blade too if you want to mark out beard lines. Frankly, the zero blade ought to be part of the package in that price range - and that’s the only reason I’m knocking off a start for otherwise a decent product. Will do a 6 month review when the time comes.
