I bought the Brio Beardscape V2 because of its many features, such as the adjustable cutting speed and long battery life. However, I have been disappointed with some aspects of this trimmer, especially considering the high price I paid for it.
1) The standard blade does not cut very short- I used to have the Phillips Series 7000 Multigroom (among many others before that) and I noticed that the standard blade on that one cuts much shorter, and that the precision trimmer that comes with it helped me get into difficult to access areas and cuts even shorter. With the Brio Beardscape V2, I find it hard to line up my beard with the standard blade and get into difficult to access areas
2) There is no precision trimmer (shorter blade for difficult to access areas). This makes it almost impossible to get rid of difficult to access hairs near the moustache and goatee.
3) The guards included are double sided- This means that I cannot cut for lengths of 6mm, 9mm,12mm and 18mm. While the Zero Blade can somewhat compensate for this, I don’t think this should be a compromise for such an expensive product.
Overall, I feel like the standard blade is not suitable for my needs, and I wonder if there is a way to get a replacement or a refund. I would appreciate it if the Brio customer service team could contact me and offer me some solutions. Thank you.
