My 1-2 guard broke and I purchased a new one. It came really fast and works as well as the original. Great products as always.
I love my brio beardscape. However, the guards are so fragile and break so easily. I have broken several guards and am pretty disappointed in them. It's a shame because the trimmer is spectacular.

Received my trimmer a couple days ago. Very nice features and performance, just as advertised. However, two days later, opened the drawer and found the 1mm/2mm guard had snapped. I was hoping to take this trimmer with me on a upcoming long trip. But with my preferred guard broken and no confidence in the others, this trimmer did not make the cut. The fact that the guard is covered under warranty is of no value right now. When I eventually do get the replacement guard, I'm sure it will also break at some point. And please, don't bother telling me about the new "Snap" blade & guard set for yet another $45. If that's the solution, it should have been included with the trimmer already. It is a very nice trimmer as long as you don't need any length guards. Unfortunately, that's not my situation. I should have done more research on this trimmer before purchasing. Lots of broken guard complaints!

These guards are very poorly designed and break very easily. The clips on the side fracture off with even the slightest pressure, and the plastic piece in the center also cracks easily. I am on my third guard and have had the trimmer for around 6 months. The trimmer is great otherwise, but the cost of replacing these guards would make me choose a different product.

I had to buy this replacement after the original that came with my trimmer broke. They lasted a long time and I was unaware of the warranty at until I ordered the replacement. The price was fair but the shipping cost seem to high. I recommend keeping them in a safe place and check the included warranty before ordering a replacement
I requested a replacement to my guard that broke and Brio was quick and easy to get me a replacement! Amazing customer service!
The plastic being used and gage is very fragile. Plastic should have a little give. It broke just putting the guard on. It wasn't dropped. Just the act of setting the guard into its groove must have caused a crack and it little fell off into my hand in the motion of putting the guard on. It was my second use of the trimmer. I am not Arnold Schwarzenegger. I didn't use much force.

I like this shaver, its great, but the one guard just keeps breaking every 12 months. I have gone through 3 of these guards now and I am going to be smart this time and order 2 more because I am not sure how much longer this product will be supported.
