A few things: There is no travel safety lock on the trimmer; the power button is so sensitive that a gentle touch can turn the trimmer on. A travel safety lock is a must from a safety perspective and to avoid accidental power-on and battery drainage.

It's a bit heavy; hands feel tired while using it.

No rattle just a humm but super powerfull

This has been my absolute favorite trimmer ever, but suddenly, after years of using it with no issues, it won’t turn off. Now I’m scared to leave it unattended in case it overheats or causes a fire, so I’m stuck carrying it around, listening to the constant buzzing. The battery life is amazing—it’s barely losing charge even after all this time—but that’s not exactly helpful when I can’t shut it off. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m out a pretty expensive trimmer. Really disappointed.

This is the best trimmer I’ve ever had. Very high quality. Much better than the average Walmart trimmer.

Only used a few times so far, but it's really proving its worth. This is QUALITY! Expecting this to keep me trimmed and tidy for the foreseeable future. Can highly recommend, it will not disappoint!

I was looking for beard trimmer for a long time but I never decided to buy one because of mixed reviews on Amazon. I came across this YouTuber, Beardtube that talked about V1 and 2, along other trimmers. I did my research on each one that was presented and decided on the V1. I used the beard trimmer for the first time and I was satisfied with everything. I followed the instructions and read the the manual to understand the trimmer. It's pretty simple to use and the attachments are great. I experimented with the higher guards first and worked my way down. It was a great experience. The display is nice and let's you know when to charge and add oil. Forgot if it does anything else but the manual talks about the indicators. People noticed the difference and I got compliments. I give props to the ability to choose the blade height and the guards. Would recommend!!!!

Cutts very smooth, only have to go over my beard once.cut my neck hair down to almost a clean shave.

I bought one of these 3 years ago. I wear a full beard so I probably only use it for a few mins every week however I only had to charge it 3 times over the 3 years. Additionally, its an excellent shaver if you take care of it and I felt like it never dulled and always functioned well.

Customer Support

One day my shaver just stopped charging so I emailed Brio customer support to see if there was anything that could be fixed, unfortunately there was nothing to be done as I was beyond the 2 year warranty. However, customer service offered me a 50% discount on a replacement, which was fantastically generous and not at all necessary. I work in marketing and this shows me that Brio cares deeply about their customer loyalty and it really impressed me. I've immediately bought another V1 and will be a loyal Brio customer in the future.
