Guards break easily
I love the brio trimmer, I have two of them now! My only complaint is the 3/6 guards on both of my trimmers broke after only a few uses. I am glad it’s easy to order replacements and they’re not super expensive

Broken guard
I bought this clipper for my husband as a Xmas gift. (Beardscape v2) He seems to like it, but he used it with the 1-2 mm attachment maybe 3 times, and then it broke in half. I'm a hairdresser, so I've used used lots of clippers. I've never had an attachment break. They shouldn't...certainly not after afew uses.

Hello, Tracy! Thanks for your review and sorry to see the broken guard! There are some things you can do to prevent them from breaking - first, it's best not to store them on the trimmer. Instead, keep them safe in a drawer or travel case. I'm not sure if you own a Zero Blade, but just to cover my bases - the guards are not compatible with it and will break if they're forced onto it. I dont think it has solved the issue. The razor is not functioning properly. I bought something based in toronto so I could have in person customer care to look at it or discuss future issues. It rattles around in certain modes.

Guard breaks too easily
I love the Brio V1 Trimmer and have been a long time customer (over 5 years). But the guards break way too easily! Have had to replace multiple times.

We're always happy to help over at support@brio4life.com, so please don't hesitate to reach out! We have a video on our maintenance page that our CEO made showing the best way to handle the guards. Following those steps can help prolong their lifespan. We also recently released the Snap System, which is a new blade and set of guards that connect to each other magnetically. Those guards are a bit stronger, and since they don't have to flex to connect and disconnect, they should not only last longer but also be easier to handle.

My gaurd broke and I’m not sure how. I’ve had other guards from other manufacturers and never had guards break like this.
