I purchased your product back on Jan. 18, 2026, I had heard about your clippers from a client of mine who has
a very well trimmed full beard...bordering on a Santa Claus style or David Letterman of recent.
In contrast to my client, I am a practicing dental surgeon who must keep my beard at a fairly short length at all times because I wear a surgical mask all day long.
I have read all the instructions that come with the clippers. I have settled into the 3 or 4 guard length.
When I first tried the clipper, I went with a 5 guard length. Since my previous clipper (Oster Classic 76) finally died after 13+ years, I was conservative and tried a longer length
guard (your 5 or 6) as I was a slightly overgrown Oster #2 blade at that time. As I began the trimming, I was rather taken back by the multiple continued pinches of the hair pulling as it was cutting, It was and is very uncomfortable and disappointing to say the least.
I have made sure the guides are secure, I've set the clipper blade at 1.9 , I have varied the speeds up and down, and it still pulls very uncomfortably at each use.
In contrast to this experience, my previous Oster clippers never caused any level of discomfort, it delivered a comfortable trim EVERY time..

Hello, Louis! Thanks for your detailed review. I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble! It's best if the trimmer is set to the highest RPM, 7000, and you should only trim on clean/dry hair. I believe a replacement blade assembly will do the trick, and it looks like we're already in communication with you and in the process of helping.
Good shaver but the USB-C port doesn't work with PD so most USB-C cables won't charge the shaver.
It's disappointing that they cheaped out on the charging port in order to save a few pennies.
Hello, Anon! Thanks for your review. The USB-C port is just considered a bit of a bonus, I'm sorry that it doesn't charge with high capacity USB-C cables! It will charge with a cable that delivers 15W or less. This is why we have the other port, so you can charge your trimmer directly with the cable that we provided. There are several options! I've only used it twice, but it's powerful, and has a great grip. Only complaint is the guards sizing. But, ya get a card for ease of deciding what size is needed for a proper cut.
I just received my Brio V2 today. I REALLY wanted to like this trimmer after seeing the dozens of men’s style YouTube influencers swear it’s a life changing experience and make statements like it’s the “best trimmer on the market”, “the only trimmer you’ll ever own”, blah blah. This thing cuts no better than my $50, 7 year old Norelco that’s been dull for a while now.
I do not have thick facial hair at all. I had to go over my beard for more than 10 minutes straight and every time I would make another pass in certain spots, it would trim more hair that it missed on the first 20 passes. What’s the point in trimming your beard when it’s gonna have lots of spots of unevenness because the trimmer can’t cut hair??? And I tried to edge my mustache line around my lip. The standard blade and body blade wouldn’t cut the hair at all. The zero blade cut my lip more than hair.
And just to be clear I had the RPMs all the way up and have tried all three blades (standard, body blade, and zero blade). I gave it 2 stars because it’s a nice looking trimmer, has good weight, and came fully charged upon delivery. Those are my only pros.
