Snap System

These guards must be purchased with the the new Snap Blade. The guards and the blades have magnets in them along with 'locking tabs '. The magnets hold the guard to the blade and the tabs keep them meshef together. Together, these two accessories fix the only complaint I've had with the Brio: difficultly changing the length guard. No more guessing if the guard is in place it literally snaps itself into place. In addition, if I pressed a little too hard with the old system, the guard would pop off. That doesn't happen with the Snap Blade/Guard. Perfectly engineered upgrade!

The last item I have on my Brio wish list is a pivoting head along with a button to prevent the head from pivoting for those that don't want that feature.

Good addition better than the old (all plastic ones) a lot more sturdier!

I have a Beardscape V2 and love it. I was always fine using the previous guards, but these are so much easier to use, and I love the additional lengths available with these. I was a little worried they might not stay in place, or that they might not work as well, but I was wrong, and they are excellent. Worth the cost and then some. You do need the matching new blade for these to work.

This new "Snap on" guard system is a long overdue improvement to my Brio. The only thing did not work well with my Brio was the guard system which was unreliable and difficult to deal with! Several instances where the guard just popped off while trimming resulting in a big divot! That won't be happening with the new Snap Guard system and as an added bonus the new Snap Guard storage case is also magnetic!

So far, so good. Wasn’t real sure about buying new guards but once I tried them what a difference from the originals. Well made & they really do snap right on. The magnets are strong keeping them well secured on the trimmer. They don’t fall off and there’s no struggling to put & keep them on or remove them as happens with the old ones. Nice touch with the well visible sizes too.

Not a life changer but they do make it easier on trim days.

The new blade and snap guards are 100% better than the original ones. No turning back !

I highly recommend this Snap Guards system. The guards stay secured while trimming. The magnets keep the guards safe and in place in the hard case thus making the Snap Guards great for travel use.

Guards don’t stay on as tight as regular guards. Worried they might slip off while trimming my beard.

Great improvement to an already great beard trimer!
