Requires yet another expensive additional purchase to use
So this product does a good job of cutting hair. However, it’s a very expensive product and I was disappointed to have my one and 2 mm blade guard break with only one month of light use. So I bought this guard thinking it would be a replacement, not realizing that you have to buy an additional blade in order to use the magnetic guard. I had already bought the original brio beardscape, plus a zero blade and a body blade and all the blade guards with the original purchase. But much to my disappointment in order to use this replacement, you have to purchase a third blade and this expensive product just continues to get more and more expensive. I’m disappointed with how much money I’m having to spend and the durability of the generic guards that come with the original trimmer. Seems like despite being a. “ premium.” product, it requires you to spend a bunch of extra money on additional attachments. I find this disappointing.

We cover broken guards and accessories under a two-year warranty, and we're really flexible about small items if it's been longer than two years. The magnetic guards you're referring to, The Snap System - it's a brand new product that we came out with just earlier this year, and I'm afraid it is indeed a separate purchase. The V1+ that we just launched comes with the Snap System. We also offer a generous discount towards the Snap system for existing Beardscape customers.
