We have lived in the world of trimmer guards for many years. No matter the style, there are compromises.

The snap guard system is one of simplest and comprehensive guard systems ever created.  The double-sided guards plus adjustable blade offer a massive cutting range with 32 different lengths between 1 mm and 14mm) The magnetic locking system is as secure as it is simple. The guard set includes a case to magnetically store and access the guards. All 4 guards nest in a tight bundle for convenient storage without the case. The Snap Guard system uses a thicker plastic profile to increase stability and durability over previous guard styles.

Good upgrade

Had to replace a broken guard. Wasn’t thrilled about spending more on a whole new guard set plus a new metal blade. Having said that, I’m very happy with both the new blade and the new guards. I think the trimmer is performing better than with the old plastic blade and guards. It’s a real improvement in my experience over the original.

Blade Catches

I have used this place multiple times and feels like it just does not work as well as the all metal bades. I have many instances of the blade sticking and pulling hair. The build is great, just seems like the blade is off a bit.

Very disappointed

I'm not sure if I have a defective product, because I read very good reviews about this before I bought.

This product is not trimming my hair at all! Instead it's just pushing it forward.

I've had the original brio beardscape ceramic blade since 2018 and it's been working really well for me so was pretty disappointed with this product.

Thank you for your honest feedback and we are sorry to hear the Snap Blade has not been performing as expected! What you are describing hair being pushed rather than cut is usually a sign that the blade is not seated correctly or the micro-adjuster needs to be set to the lowest position. Make sure the adjuster is all the way down and that the blade snaps firmly into the magnetic notches with no wobble. Also try adding a drop or two of clipper oil to the blade teeth before use as this can make a big difference. Fantastic

Wife threw out my original guards by "accident" so I had to order another set. The only available ones are the magnetic ones so I bought the kit and the mag blade. Works fantastic
